Suspension of Service

I’m languishing on a beach. As a result I haven’t been updating this blog as often as I should. Apologies to the handful of people this might bother.

Among my holiday reading is Fall of the House of Paisley by David Gordon. I hope to feature a review on my return. Just a few chapters in but enjoying hugely. In the tradition of great polemic.

Happy holidays all.

Snap! Not the languishing on a beach, but I read David Gordon’s Paisley book on holiday too. Will post review in a couple of days over on AiB, but it was quite an insight …

snap also. I picked it up at the airport along with a book on the provos. Very insigthful but it still doesn’t answer the big question. What made Ian do his U turn. It cost him everything in the end politically and religiously.

Read it, found it boring. Sorry!
